Founder Story - Timothy Baas

After more than 20 years as a structural engineer in Connecticut, I saw a clear gap in the market: truly durable luxury goods from verified artisan suppliers in the USA and abroad.

Too many products appear and function as though designed to affect an impulse purchase rather than provide long‑term satisfaction and value. Materials wear out quickly. Details are overlooked. The experience doesn’t live up to the promise. A common refrain.

I founded AmeriLuxe Essentials, LLC in 2025 to change that—by connecting discerning customers with premium products from established manufacturers such as Incalpaca of Peru, and other trusted partners who share our commitment to quality.

The renowned American architect and designer - Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) once said, "Give me the luxuries of life and I will willingly do without the necessities." He believed "beauty in all forms - art, design and nature - had a profound impact on the quality of life" and, if one "invests in beauty, it will remain with you all the days of your life."
